The course format

The format is a summer school style mini course.

Data

Language: Oshikwanyama

Supervised learning is the most successful and most widely used form of machine learning(ML). In supervised learning, labeled data consisting of example inputs and their corresponding labels is the main ingredient. To enable students to take ownership of ML systems, our course involves working together with students to collect high quality data for applications of interest.

Students will be provided with a data annotation tool.

Fees and Certification

No Fees: The course is offered for free by the instructor(s) with the help of teaching assistants (TAs).

Certificate: Participants will be granted certificates upon successful completion.

Formal qualification: The course does not lead to a degree or other formal qualifications.
