Okalai@Home is an Okalai AI project dedicated to developing language technologies and resources for Namibian languages.

Our current focus is on Oshikwanyama, spoken by the Ovakwanyama people in the Oukwanyama region of Northern Namibia and Southern Angola. Our interest is both in models and data resources to support and enhance the use of Oshikwanyama.

We are looking for fluent Oshikwanyama speakers who are passionate about preserving and enhancing their language and culture. If you are interested in contributing to this project, please get in touch with us at: okalai.org@ (ohatu monika koGmaila.)
